General Assembly will be hosting Ease for our 2nd Teach & Tell event. Our speaker, Michael Frederick, is an Emmy® Award Winning Creative Director and Designer who has designed for clients big and small in just about every medium imaginable. You may also know Michael from his course Design Bootcamp at School of Motion.
Michael is not only going to be discussing design and how to change the way you see ordinary objects, but he’ll deliver a 2-hour workshop…FOR FREE. In this lesson, Michael will discuss how to change the way you see everyday objects through abstract visual thinking. So bring your laptops, put on your thinking caps and get ready to learn because there is a lot of ground to cover!
This lesson is for everyone from beginner to advanced. Michael has a massive bank of knowledge and experience from which to draw, so regardless your skill level, you’ll leave this class having learned a ton.
Please bring your laptops with Photoshop and Illustrator already installed. It would be helpful to know your way around Photoshop before the workshop. Assets will be provided at the beginning of the lesson. Space is limited, so don’t forget to sign up through General Assembly’s website ASAP and arrive no later than 6:00PM.
